Up to two 4th Gen Intel Xeon Scalable (Sapphire Rapids, up to 32 cores) or 5th Gen Intel Xeon Scalable (Emerald Rapids, up to 28 cores) processors. 16 DDR5 RDIMM slots total, 8 DIMM slots per CPU across 8 memory channels per CPU (1 DIMM per channel, 1DPC). Registered ECC DDR5 (RDIMM) only, 1.1 V. DIMM speed up to 4800 MT/s on 4th Gen and up to 5200 MT/s on 5th Gen; validated DIMM bins are 4800 and 5600 MT/s (5600 MT/s RDIMMs apply to 5th Gen). Supported RDIMM capacities 16/32/64/96 GB (>=96 GB requires HPR fans; service manual notes up to 128 GB with HPR fans). Max RAM up to 1 TB RDIMM per the technical guide product comparison.
