Up to 32 DIMM slots (16 per CPU, 8 channels x 2 DPC). Speeds CPU-dependent: 4th Gen Xeon up to 4800 MT/s 1DPC, 5th Gen Xeon up to 5600 MT/s 1DPC, 4400 MT/s at 2DPC. Up to 8 TB max memory (32x 256GB), up to 256 GB per DIMM. RDIMM only (Registered DDR5 with on-die ECC); no MRDIMM/LRDIMM/UDIMM. Intel Xeon Scalable 4th Gen (Sapphire Rapids) and 5th Gen (Emerald Rapids), 2 sockets. A 256GB DDR5-6400 RDIMM PID exists but the node runs it at the 5th Gen controller max of 5600 MT/s.
